"Sister's Choice" wall hanging (31"x31") is pieced and quilted. Four nine-patch motifs are linked into a lattice motif. The wide border is accented by a narrow strip of tiny light and dark squares. "Carpenter's Wheel" pieced and quilted wall hanging (36"x36") features a center 8-point square encircled by a zigzag band and diamonds. Smaller 8-point stars accent border corners. "Ojo de Dios" (God's Eye) wallhanging (40"x40") utilizes four pieced "Pineapple" quilt blocks. Color placement creates the image of this traditional Southwestern talisman. "May Baskets" wallhanging (40"x40") is made without using a template. Four "Basket" blocks are pieced so their bases form a diamond motif at the center of each quadrant. Quadrants are separated with dark sashes that match the plain border. "Mimbres Fawn" wallhanging (36"x36") was inspired by the stylized pottery decorations of the ancient Mimbres Indians. Color placement in the four pieced "Pineapple" blocks creates a "feathered" circle in the center topped by a fawn motif applique. "Little Bear's First Star" wallhanging (24"x24") features an appliqued bear and star on a background of four 9-patch pieced blocks. Plain border is accented by smaller 9-patch blocks in the corners. "Pyramid Puzzle quilted wallhanging, 30"x44", is a scrap quilt pieced from 195 triangles. "Captain's Choice" pieced wall quilt (56"x56"). Central block features a compass rose motif. Four eight-pointed star blocks flank the compass block on each side. These motifs are surrounded by strips of sawtooth pattern and framed by both narrow and wide borders with corner blocks. Advanced skill level. "Ribbits In the Rain" applique wall quilt (36"x35") with spring-shower quilting, features motifs of frogs sitting on lily pads in a pond, interspersed among flowering water lilies. Intermediate skill level. "Winged Beauty" pieced wall quilt (60"x60") alternates blocks of butterfly motifs with patches of floral fabric and is edged with prairie points. Quilting is done in the "Windswept Blossoms" motif. Intermediate skill level. "Kickapoo Ponies" and "Pastel Ponies" wall or crib quilts (50"x50") both feature appliqued blocks with rocking-horse motifs. "Kickapoo" version is bordered by boldly colored sawtooth strip-and-squares sashes. "Pastel" version intersperses diamond motifs between the horses which are backed by a delicate print fabric. Intermediate skill level. "Strawberry Trellis" wall quilt (59"x59") features a trellis motif with strawberry motif appliques. "Blueberry Trellis" alternative uses only pieced blocks in two patterns. Intermediate skill level. "Dolphin Bay" wall or crib quilt (58"x73") features three rows of sailboat applique motifs "afloat" on a sea filled with small fish and leaping dolphins. Requires piecing, applique and embroidery. Intermediate skill level. "Best Wishes" wall quilt (53"x53") features a pieced eight-point star medallion with heart-and-ribbon applique' motifs in the center and corners. "Garden Star" variation features a pieced floral spray rather than applique'. Both are variations of the "Lone Star" pattern. Advanced skill level. "Wicked Willie" pieced wall or crib quilt (40"x40") with simple-steps tying is suggested as a good beginner's quilt. Two block designs offer alternating star and square motifs. Very detailed instructions furnished for all steps in making the blocks and quilt. "Ring of Iris" octagon-shaped wall quilt (35" across) features a central medallion of appliqued iris motifs. A ring of eight iris motifs encircle the central unit. Advanced skill level. "Apple Harvest" wall quilt (47"x47") with "Appleseed" quilting, features thirteen pieced blocks with an apple motif in each. These are set apart with strip-and-square sashes set on the diagonal. Intermediate skill level. "Holiday Wonder" Christmas wall quilt (72"x72") features star motif quilt blocks alternated with stenciled or appliqued Yule motifs (house, reindeer, tree, poinsettia and holly). Holly leaf and berry motifs border the quilt. Advanced skill level. "Sawtoot") features a block with a fan pattern surrounded by a border in sawtooth. Four-block units are separated by sashes of triangles that meet at a center square. Border of plain strips and sawtooth ties the four quadrants together. The interplay of vibrant colors creates a strong geometric impact . Advanced skill level. "The Sewing Room" pieced wall quilt (46"x56") alternates rows of thread and pincushion motifs with scissor motifs. Intermediate skill level. Pennsylvania Dutch wall quilt (42"x42") features four traditional hearts-and-flowers applique blocks separated by sashing. "Spools and Shuttles" pieced wallhanging (59"x75") is patterned after an old doll quilt. "Dutchman's Puzzle" variation pieced quilt. Instructions furnished for two sizes (15.5"x15.5" and 60"x84"). "Irish Lace Hanky" pieced wallhanging (48"x48") combines an assortment of familiar quilt block patterns ("Feathered Star," "Log Cabin," and "Checkerboard"). "Cane Weave" pieced wallhanging (26"x32") is also called "Around The Twist." It is a four-block pattern that forms a twisted lattice design. "Sawtooth Diamond" pieced wallhanging (22"x22") features ribbed and floral quilting in each corner and a wide, quilted border. "Amish Diamond" quilted wallhanging (48"x48") is an easy-piecing project that uses no templates and can show off quilting skills. "Bear" wallhanging (36"x36") features a central applique of a teddy bear and the phrase "Quilting makes life bear-able." This is bordered by a strip of sawtooth and sashing with sawtooth corner blocks. "Big Sur Sunset" pieced wallhanging (32"x32") uses rich fabrics and exotic colors to create the effect of a fiery sun set over the Pacific Ocean. "Migration" quilted wallhanging (32"x44") is an adaptation of the traditional "Flying Geese" pattern. Also includes instructions for a miniature "Migration" quilt (12.5"x15.5"). Beginner skill level "Birds and Trees" quilted wallhanging, 21" square, features four evergreen-tree motifs in the center. Corners of the center square are accented with flying-geese motifs. A wide outer border in paisley print and narrower red and green inner borders frame the central square. "Crazy Quilt Christmas Tree" wallhanging, 18" square, features a Yule tree motif in the center that has been crazy pieced and adorned with scraps of trims, laces and ribbons. Background is done in reverse applique and quilted in a lattice motif. "Fall Colors" wall hanging, 37"x47", is stitched from strips of fabric in fall colors and quilted with block outlines. Wheat, corn, acorn, oakleaf, pumpkin, apple and maple leaf motifs are quilted in the blocks. Wall quilt (21"x21") features an Hawaiian breadfruit applique.
