Three simple rafts you can build. (1) the Coracle, a 6-ft. circle of brush made into a wreath and lashed with a tarp. (2) a Sausage raft. Four "sausages" made by wrapping bundles of straw with tarps are lashed together and then topped with a framework of poles. (3) a Carton raft, with milk cartons taped together to form pontoons that support a deck of boards.
