How to adjust an altimeter so that the needle and millibar indicator are in agreement. E.A.A. TECHNICAL COUNSELOR NEWS Jan-Mar 1990 pg. 7
Model rocket altimeter consists of an all-CMOS microcomputer that is coupled to an atmospheric pressure sensor via signal-conditioning circuitry. The unit is powered by a 9-volt battery, takes a pressure sample every 0.25 seconds, and stores 1000 data values in memory during the flight. Est. cost: $135 (kit). ELECTRONICS EXPERIMENTERS HANDBOOK 1992 pg. 89
Portable electronic altimeter responds to ambient air pressure to provide altitude readings up to 5,000 feet in 1-foot increments. MODERN ELECTRONICS [2] Jan 1990 (v.7#1) pg. 42
Electronic altimeter for a model rocket takes a pressure reading every 0.25 seconds and stores 1000 data values in memory during the flight. Suitable for use in D-, E-, or F-motor powered model rockets. Est. cost: $135. RADIO-ELECTRONICS Oct 1990 (v.61#10) pg. 37
