SCOPE OF INDEX:  Vital statistics were indexed only during the 1960-1962 period. Advertisements are indexed only if they include photographs of the staff or present the annual report or history of the firm. Otherwise, it is a general index with emphasis on Burlington and the state of Vermont.
FORMAT OF INDEX:  This is a typed 3x5 card file index with multiple entries per card. The entry is a brief description of the article, followed by the month, day, and page. The year is in the upper right hand corner of each card.
