AVAILABILITY:  Only one copy of this index exists. It must be used in the East Orange Public Library.
SCOPE OF INDEX:  Indexes only East Orange material, except high school sports events.
FORMAT OF INDEX:  A 3x5 card file index for the period 1965-1972. A 8½x11 inch looseleaf index for 1973-Current. Each card or page of the index covers one subject. There is more than one entry per card or page. Each entry begins with the citation (month, day, year and page) and is followed by the headline, augmented by text if necessary.
SIZE OF INDEX:  About 100 entries per month are added to the index.
