Copies of the index and corresponding copies of the newspaper are available for public use in the Culpeper Town and County Library (Main & Mason St; Culpeper VA).
SCOPE OF INDEX:  An alphabetical index to all personal names and selected subjects for the locality of the newspaper.
FORMAT OF INDEX:  A book-form index typewritten on 8½x11 inch pages. Entries consist mostly of personal names (last name first), followed by a brief word or phrase, and a code number representing the date of the paper.
SIZE OF INDEX:  8200 entries in the five volumes.
