AVAILABILITY:  A published index available in photocopy form in two volumes. 1859-1899 (indexes 12 newspaper issues from the above list of titles; 17 pages); 1882-1889 (indexes 9 newspaper issues from the above list of titles; 9 pages). Write for prices.
SCOPE OF INDEX:  An alphabetical index to all personal names and selected events for the locality of the newspaper.
FORMAT OF INDEX:  A book-form index typewritten on 8½x11 inch pages. Entries consist mostly of personal names (last name first, a brief notation on the content of the article, and the citation. The citation consists of a code for the newspaper, volume and issue.
SIZE OF INDEX:  1200 entries total in the two volumes.
