AVAILABILITY:  Only two copies of this book-form index exist. They must be used in the Morristown Library.
SCOPE OF INDEX:  Since we use the index primarily for genealogy and local history purposes, we emphasiz personal names and place names along with subjects. Obituaries, deaths and marriages are always indexed. Some state and national news is also included.
FORMAT OF INDEX:  A book-form index typewritten on 8½x11 inch pages. Arrangement is alphabetical with both subjects and personal names in the same listing. Entries are brief, usually consisting of the personal name or subject, followed by a word or two of detail, followed by the month, day, year and page where the article appeared.
