AVAILABILITY:  Only one copy of this card file index exists. It must be used in the library of the McLean County Historical Society.
SCOPE OF INDEX:  The index is composed of lead lines on news articles of local and county interest. There is also contained vital statistics, advertisements, sales of real estate and agriculture.
FORMAT OF INDEX:  A 3x5 card file index arranged in alphabetical order by subject and personal name. Entries consist of the citation in the upper right hand corner of the card followed by the lead line and brief description of the article. The citation consists of the name of paper (abbreviated), month, day, year, page and column.
