SCOPE OF INDEX: An index about local political news and issues, people and organizations. |
FORMAT OF INDEX: A 3x5 card file index divided into two sections: (1) 1971-1976 section. An index to two newspapers, the Natick Bulletin and the Natick Suburban Press. The left hand side of each card contains entries from the Bulletin and the right hand side has entries from the Suburban Press. Entries begin with the citation (mo-dy-yr-pg) and are followed by the headline. (2) 1977-Current section. An index to only the Natick Bulletin. Entries begin with the headline and are followed by the citation (mo-dy-yr-pg). Brief annotations are added occasionally for clarification. Letters to the editor and accompanying illustrations are also noted. Both sections are arranged in alphabetical order by subject. |
SIZE OF INDEX: The 1971-1976 file numbers about 15,600 entries. The 1977-Current file contained some 50 entries as of June 1978. There are physically over 1,785 cards in the index. |
