SCOPE OF INDEX: The index is a name and subject index to persons, organizations and subjects appearing in the Fremont Herald. In some cases, where only initials of personal names appeared in the paper, there may be multiple entries for the same person. |
FORMAT OF INDEX: A book form index typewritten on 8½x11 inch pages. Entries are arranged in alphabetical order by subject and personal name. Entries consist of the name (or subject) followed by a brief description of the article, followed by the citation (year, month, day, page, and column). |
