AVAILABILITY:  This index was originally published and sold by the Tribune Association in annual editions. 35mm microfilm copies of the original indexes are still available from the Bell & Howell Company, Micro Photo Division for $66. Micro Photo also has a bound set of the original indexes. Presumably, copies of this formerly published index will be found in other libraries around the US.
FORMAT OF INDEX:  A book form indes, in alphabetical order, with both subject and personal names in the same alphabet. The original page size was 5�x8 inches. Entries tend to be very brief and consist of a word or two about the article, followed by the month, day, page, and column where the article appeared.
