FORMAT OF INDEX:  A book form index typewritten on 8½x11 inch pages. Uses broad subject headings, including geographic headings subdivided by subject. Entries are arranged in chronological order below each heading and consist of the headline followed by the citation. The citation includes the month, day, year, and page. Accompanying illustrations are noted.
