SCOPE OF INDEX:  This is a subject guide to newspapers, pamphlets and several Ohio periodicals. It is also a place to record the answers to reference questions which have been researched. As such, it is a general information guide as well as a limited newspaper index.
FORMAT OF INDEX:  A 3x5 card file in alphabetical order by subject. References to newspaper articles are usually just the citation (paper, month, day, year, and page number) without any descriptive information.
SIZE OF INDEX:  About 700 entries per month are added to the file which currently occupies some 50,000 cards.
