FORMAT OF INDEX:  A 3x5 card file index arranged in a single alphabetical order with subjects, personal names, and corporate names interfiled. Entries consist of a brief annotation followed by a code for the newspaper and the date (day-month-year). There is no indication of page or column. Editorials are noted.
