AVAILABILITY:  One copy of this book form index is available for use in the St.Petersburg Public Library. The library has copies of the St.Petersburg Times and the Evening Independent newspapers for the period indexed. It does not have copies of the other two newspapers.
SCOPE OF INDEX:  Includes local, state, national, and international news. Arranged by extremely broad topics. Some articles are abstracted, others repeated almost in full. Appendices include extended transcriptions.
FORMAT OF INDEX:  A book form index in two parts: 1907-1924 and 1925-1935. Each part is in alphabetical order by broad subject areas. Within each subject, the entries are in order by newspaper, and then chronologically by date within that paper. Each entry consists of an abstract of the article followed by the section, page, column, month, day, and year where the article appeared.
SIZE OF INDEX:  16 bound volumes.
