SCOPE OF INDEX:  An index to the "Semi-centennial Edition" of Feb. 8, 1934. An index to personal names and the following broad topical areas: amusements, business, civics, history, news, organizations, politics, relition, and sports.
FORMAT OF INDEX:  A book form index typewritten on 8½x11 inch pages. Divided into two sections: PERSONAL NAMES and SUBJECTS. The personal names section is in alphabetical order by last name. Each entry consists of a brief description of the article followed by the page and column where the article appeared. The subject section is arranged by the broad topical areas (see Scope note). Additional words are used in front of each entry to further specify the content of each article. Each entry consists of a brief description followed by the page and column number.
SIZE OF INDEX:  10 pages in total.
