FORMAT OF INDEX: A 3x5 card file index in alphabetical order by subject, with a few personal names interfiled. Entries consist of the headline and/or a brief description, followed by the citation. The citation includes a code for the newspaper, the date (mo-day-yr), section, page, and column where the article appeared. Accompanying photographs are noted. |
SIZE OF INDEX: About 50 entries per month are added to the current index. |
