Entries consist of the name, a code for marriages or deaths (m or d), date of marriage or death, name of spouse, and other appropriate information. The citation consists of the month, day, page and column where the article appeared. No year is indicated because the appropriate year is indicated at the top of each page, along with the name of the genealogical group responsible for the transcription into typed format. Users are reminded that there may be errors on the part of the typist in interpreting the handwriting. No attempt was made to recheck the newspapers for possible coding errors.
