AVAILABILITY:  This is a published index. Copies are available for $12.50 each from the Golden Spike Chapter (c/o Mrs. Hill). The index is available for public use in the Special Collections section of Merrill Library (Utah State University, Logan UT).
FORMAT OF INDEX:  There are three sections in this index. The HISTORICAL section provides subject access to the news. The BIOGRAPHICAL section is an alphabetical index to persons in the news. The VITAL STATISTICS section has four subsections which index births, deaths, divorces, and marriages. Entries consist of a brief annotation followed by the name of the paper, month, day, year, page, and column. The index is a typescript 8½x11 inch book that has been printed by offset and spiral bound. Some unbound copies may also be available.
