AVAILABILITY:  At the present time this index exists only in card format. When indexing is completed, the compilers plan to retype it into a book format and offer copies for sale. The index may be used in its present form by special arrangement.
SCOPE OF INDEX:  The index includes historical data concerning the development and settlement of Brigham City and Box Elder County, Utah. Also included is biographical and genealogical data (births, deaths, divorces, and marriages).
FORMAT OF INDEX:  The present 3x5 card file index is divided into three sections: HISTORICAL, BIOGRAPHICAL, and GENEALOGICAL. Entries consist of a brief annotation plus the newspaper name, month, day, year, page, and column.
