AVAILABILITY:  Only one copy of this card format index exists. It must be used in the Westerly Public Library.
SCOPE OF INDEX:  The newspaper covers the summer resort of Watch Hill and is published each year from June to September. The index covers Watch Hill society news, articles on local building, beaches, hotels, etc. It also includes deaths and marriages.
FORMAT OF INDEX:  A 3x5 card file index with subjects and personal names interfiled in a single alphabet. The entry consists of the headline, month, day, and year.
SIZE OF INDEX:  Approximately 3000 entries typed on some 400 cards.
