FORMAT OF INDEX:  A 3x5 card file index, with handwritten entries on both sides of the cards. The subject heading is written at the top of the front side of the card only. The cards are arranged in alphabetical order by subject. Each card contains many entries. Each entry consists of the headline followed by the page and date (mo-dy-yr) where the article may be found.
SIZE OF INDEX:  Approximately 200 entries per month are added to the current index which occupies both sides of soome 3,500 3x5 file cards.
