AVAILABILITY:  Only one copy of this card file index exists. It must be used in the Northeastern Nevada Museum.
SCOPE OF INDEX:  Contains entries on people, personalities, communities, mining districts, ranches, geography, disasters, violence, special events, schools, weather, and any other article dealing with Northeastern Nevada. The plan is to eventually complete the index from 1890 to the present.
FORMAT OF INDEX:  A 3x5 card file index arranged in a single alphabet with both subjects and personal names interfiled. The entry consists solely of the citation, without the headline or any other descriptive information. The citation includes the name of the paper (abbreviated) followed by the month, day, and year where the article appeared.
SIZE OF INDEX:  Estimate over 5,000 cards in the index.
