FORMAT OF INDEX:  A 3x5 card file index divided into two parts: BIOGRAPHY and SUBJECTS. Both parts are arranged in alphabetical order. Each card consists of one or more entries. Each entry consists of a brief description of the article, followed by the month, day, year, page and column where the article appeared.
SIZE OF INDEX:  About 2,000 cards in the entire index.
