AVAILABILITY:  Copies of these book form indexes are available for public use in the Saskatchewan Archives Office. Copies of the index will will be made at $0.15 per page upon request. The total number of pages in the index are as follows: 1883-1903 (384 pages); 1904-1920 (95 pages); 1921-1934 (243 pages) and 1935-1943 (175 pages).
SCOPE OF INDEX:  A selective approach was taken in the compilation of these indexes. Political, agricultural, social, cultural, and other subjects of a general and continuing nature are not usually covered. The main objective is to make available information on individuals, organizations, historic sites and buildings, development of Saskatchewan communities, and events for which other sources of information do not exist or are not readily available.
FORMAT OF INDEX:  A book form index typed on 8½x11 inch paper and divided into 4 volumes: 1883-1903, 1904-1920, 1921-1934, and 1935-1943. Within each volume the entries are arranged in alphabetical order by subject (or personal name). Within each subject the entries consist of a brief abstract of the article followed by the month, day, year, section and page where the article appeared.
