FORMAT OF INDEX: A 3x5 card file index arranged in alphabetical order by subject. Each card contains one or more entries consisting of the headline, code for newspaper, month, day, and year. Many of the indexed articles are clipped and placed into a vertical file which presently occupies 175 folders. Within the folders, the articles are arranged in chronological order. |
SIZE OF INDEX: About 50 newspaper articles per month are added to this file which currently occupies 6 drawers. |
