AVAILABILITY:  Only one copy of this card file index exists. It must be used in the Morrill Memorial Library.
SCOPE OF INDEX:  This index emphasizes the environmental, cultural, geographical, political, and social news about the town of Norwood. Biographical entries and obituaries are included, but are limited to well known people. Engagements, weddings, etc. are not indexed. Sports stories are also excluded unless the news involves state championships or an individual from Norwood who makes a national team.
FORMAT OF INDEX:  A 3x5 card file index with multiple entries on each card. The cards are arranged in alphabetical order by subject or personal name. Entries consist of a brief description of the article, followed by the citation. The citation includes a code for the newspaper, the month, day, year, and page.
SIZE OF INDEX:  There are four full drawers full of cards with about 10 entries per card.
